I am considering a thought experiment regarding the intersection of generative AI and hand-drawn sketching within a creative workflow. Imagine a design process where an artist uses AI to generate complex background textures instantly, then overlays rough, imperfect hand-drawn figures on top. The core hypothesis here is that intentionally introducing 'human noise'—such as shaky lines or uneven shading—after using high-fidelity algorithms creates a more authentic emotional resonance than purely generated art. This trade-off sacrifices some of the algorithm's perfect symmetry for a unique, human-centric texture that feels less sterile. Does anyone else feel that the juxtaposition of machine precision and organic imperfection strengthens the final piece? If so, how do you currently blend these two distinct mediums to ensure the final composition doesn't look disjointed?
